MORE TEACHERS RECEIVE TRAINING IN CONSERVATION EDUCATION

Just concluded teachers’ training in conservation education where 30 teachers in Ise/Orun Local Government Area of Ekiti State received training.
The initiative to train teachers in conservation education is a strategic step we devised in 2022 towards building wider environmental stewardship amongst young people around our project site. By developing a specialized curriculum for primary and secondary schools, the program is setting a foundation for teachers to understand and engage in conservation efforts so that they have increased capabilities to in turn engage their students. This proactive approach not only broadens the reach of conservation awareness but also equips future generations with the necessary skills to undertake meaningful conservation and climate action. Such educational strategies are vital in fostering a culture of sustainability and environmental responsibility among the youth.
